With technologies that ensure better operational control and the higher metallurgical efficiencies
The most environmentally sensitive way of transporting iron ore concentration from the mine to the plant
Ensuring a green way of steelmaking, and using natural gas that minimise CO2 and SOx emissions
Based at Paradip Port as part of Industrial park under Paradip SIPC project which connects with major industrial centers and international market.
We are committed to manufacturing highest quality DR & BF grade pellet conforming to international standards and in strict adherence to the ESG norms.
Pellets are increasingly the most globally accepted green way of making steel, that help reduce CO2 while improving productivity. With technologies in place that reduce emissions, save water, and leverage Solar power and Natural Gas, Essar remains responsible about its carbon footprint.
With rich legacy in steel and pellet making we have also partnered with credible institutions such as CSIR -IMMT Bhubaneswar and NMDC for validation of our process and product.
We are committed to using green technologies to tailor products as per our customers’ requirements. The resultant Pellets developed through the R&D process have been validated at Emirate Steel and Qatar Steel.
– Beneficiation Plant located in Keonjhar, Odisha, in close proximity to iron ore mines
– Pellet Plant located adjacent to Paradip Port, an all-weather Port
Pellets are increasingly being adopted in the steelmaking process, due to multiple benefits across the value chain:-
Driven by the increasing consumption and focus towards decarbonization of the steel industry to be ESG compliant, demand for pellets to be utilized for steelmaking is increasing with each passing year.
